The stretching answer

The verified sequence is Left, Right, Down, Right, Right, Down. Wait for the toy soldier to complete all six movements, return to Aldous, and tap the visible left-edge, right-edge, or bottom control for each direction. There is no Up movement and no number code in this puzzle.

Count all six inputs aloud if necessary. The most common mistake is entering Left, Right, Down, Right, Down, which removes the second consecutive Right. A successful attempt makes Aldous say the routine helps him stay young and immediately ask for his outfit.

Confirm that stretching is actually active

Stretching appears near the end of Aldous's Lite morning routine, after waking, shaving, breakfast preparation, the cold-feet clue, and the corrected porridge. You cannot enter the pattern from a fresh bedroom view or while Aldous is still asking for another item. His current dialogue is the best state indicator.

Finish the requests before stretching

If Aldous is asking whether you are trustworthy or requesting breakfast, continue the active routine instead of tapping directions. Complete the shave and ear-cleaning prompts, present the porridge, and listen for his missing-item response. The exercise control is not active until breakfast is fully accepted.

Earlier still, the written bedroom routine requires the curtains and a 7:00 wake-up. The patterned box supplies the razor, and the clock needs its missing hand before it can be set correctly. These are fixed prerequisites shown in the Lite route, not optional exploration.

Complete the cold-feet and bird-key chain

When Aldous says something is missing after the porridge appears, use both slippers on his bare feet. Then inspect the bird at the bedroom window. Wait through the bird animation until the nest is clear and a small key can be collected.

Take the small key from the bird's nest

Open the window view after fitting the slippers and interact with the black bird. Let it leave, then tap the key visible in the center of the nest. Confirm the key icon appears in the mobile inventory before returning to Aldous's room.

Unlock the top drawer and take the berries

Use the bird-nest key on the top drawer beside the bed. Open that drawer and collect the berries shown inside it. This key is separate from the front-door key used at the beginning, so an empty inventory here means the bird interaction still needs to be completed.

These steps matter because the toy soldier cue only becomes relevant after Aldous finishes eating. If the bird does not appear, make sure the porridge was presented and both slippers were placed. If the drawer stays locked, check that you actually picked up the small nest key rather than only revealing it.

Correct the porridge and finish feeding

Return to the breakfast bowl with the berries. The bowl contains black dots that act as target positions, so move the berries onto those visible dots one at a time. The accepted arrangement produces the red center object shown in the verified Lite recording.

Place the berries on the black dots

Use the picture as a state check: the berries occupy the marked locations and the center has reacted. Continue with the spoon and feed Aldous until his dialogue says he has had enough. Do not leave after placing only part of the set, because stretching remains locked until the feeding response completes.

The dots are the actionable clue; no unverified berry count or hidden random pattern is needed here. If one berry will not settle, target an uncovered black dot and release it deliberately. When Aldous still says something is missing, revisit slippers, bird key, drawer, and the remaining bowl targets in that order.

Watch the toy soldier cue

After Aldous says he has had enough, leave his close view and inspect the toy soldier in the bedroom. Tap the figure once and let its animation run without navigating away. The soldier leans and lowers through the exact sequence you need to reproduce.

Memorize the soldier's six positions

Read the demonstration as screen directions: Left, Right, Down, Right, Right, Down. The soldier faces the player, so do not reverse Left and Right based on its anatomical side. Wait for the neutral pose to return before leaving the soldier view.

This corrects a misleading shorthand that can appear in text-only guides: Aldous does not supply the original pattern in the checked Lite recording. The toy soldier supplies it, then the player returns to Aldous. Keeping those two views separate explains why tapping Aldous too early does nothing.

Enter the moves on Aldous

Return to Aldous and open the close stretching view. The Lite interface shows small navigation targets at the screen edges, including left, right, and bottom. Use those on-screen targets in the verified order rather than assuming the phone's keyboard or a gesture area outside the game.

Copy left, right, down, right, right, down

Tap one direction, let Aldous perform the lean, and then send the next. The sequence is Left, Right, Down, Right, Right, Down, with exactly six actions. After the final Down, stop tapping and wait for his acceptance dialogue.

On a small screen, rapid taps can land outside the active edge target. A steady rhythm makes it easier to see Aldous return toward neutral between moves and to count the repeated Right correctly. If one tap misses, replay the full six from the beginning rather than appending guesses.

Troubleshoot a rejected pattern

First, confirm the toy soldier has already demonstrated the clue and Aldous is in the close exercise view. If his dialogue still concerns shaving, cleaning, breakfast, missing items, or cold feet, finish that request. Direction taps cannot skip the routine's item gates.

Second, compare the entered list with all six slots in the visual sequence above. The fourth and fifth inputs are both Right; do not merge them, replace one with Down, or add Up. The portrait-lock answer 235 is unrelated and should not be entered here.

Third, use the on-screen arrows or edge targets visible in the current Lite interface. The checked recording shows those controls producing Aldous's lean and lower movements. If a later app update changes the exact touch target, that changed coordinate is To be confirmed, but the recorded sequence remains the supported answer for this build.

What happens after stretching

When the six movements are accepted, Aldous says, “This helps me stay young. Now, prepare my outfit.” Use the clothing on the rack to dress him, completing each visible item until the rack is empty and his final outfit is shown. That request is the clearest success signal for the stretching puzzle.

Dress Aldous after the accepted sequence

Continue the dialogue after the outfit is complete. Aldous says the guests should arrive shortly and asks you to look outside, which triggers the carriage view and “To be continued.” That scene is the verified ending of the Lite recording, not a continuation into the premium game's later weekend.

The mobile screenshots come from the SLY MobileGaming Lite video, while the same six-direction solution is independently visible in the 2025 Steam Demo evidence. This cross-check supports the preview answer without pretending the interfaces are identical.
