Exact exercise answer

Use the six directions Left, Right, Down, Right, Right, Down. There is no Up input, and the two Right inputs near the end are separate actions. Wait for the toy soldier's animation to stop before returning to Aldous, then enter the sequence through the visible left, right, and bottom screen-edge controls.

The successful attempt makes Aldous return upright and say that the exercise helps him stay young. His next request is to prepare his outfit. If he remains in the exercise state, restart the six inputs and check the repeated Right rather than entering the 235 portrait code or pressing keyboard arrows at random.

Before the exercise becomes available

Exercise is item five on Aldous's written morning routine, so it cannot be started immediately after entering the house. The recorded order is open the curtains, wake him at 7:00, shave, serve breakfast, exercise, and dress up. The note also warns that he does not like cold feet, which explains why the slippers must be used when he says something is missing.

Read the morning routine

Open the note in the bedroom and verify that Exercise appears after Breakfast. Complete the earlier entries instead of trying to force the movement puzzle ahead of schedule. If Aldous is still asleep, open the curtains, recover the missing clock hand, and set the alarm to 7:00 first.

Before waking him, solve the circular patterned box and take the razor. After he wakes, use the razor for the shave and follow the red-ear prompt with the cloth. Present the prepared porridge when he asks for breakfast, then respond to his “Something is missing” line before searching for the exercise cue.

Finish breakfast and the cold-feet clue

After the first porridge presentation, put both slippers on Aldous's bare feet. The video then checks the bird at the window, takes the small key left after that interaction, opens the top bedroom drawer, and collects the berries. Move the berries onto the black dots in the porridge view until the bowl accepts the arrangement, then feed Aldous.

Feed Aldous until he has had enough

Continue placing the visible berries on the available black dots as shown by the bowl puzzle. Once the bowl progresses, feed Aldous with the spoon until his dialogue says, “I've had enough.” That line is the reliable transition into the exercise portion of the routine.

If he repeats the missing-item line, exercise is not active yet. Check that both slippers were placed, the bird-and-key interaction was completed, the correct drawer was opened, and the bowl accepted the berry layout. The directional answer will not bypass any of these item gates.

Step 1: watch the toy soldier demonstration

After Aldous finishes eating, leave his close view and inspect the bedroom objects again. Activate the toy soldier and watch the entire short animation without clicking away. Its body leans or lowers through six positions, providing the pattern you must reproduce on Aldous.

Let the toy soldier show all six moves

Do not treat the soldier as a decorative clue or search it for a new number. Memorize its motion as Left, Right, Down, Right, Right, Down. Wait until it returns to the neutral pose and the normal navigation control comes back before leaving the view.

This is easy to misread because the figure faces the player and alternates around its upright position. Use the named screen direction rather than trying to translate the soldier's anatomical left and right. The two consecutive Right movements are the most commonly lost part of a quick visual memory.

Step 2: reproduce the pattern on Aldous

Return to Aldous and open his close exercise view. The game displays navigation targets at the left edge, right edge, and bottom of the screen; those are the directional inputs shown in the recording. Click them in the verified order at a steady pace and let Aldous complete each lean before sending the next input.

Move Aldous left, right, down, right, right, down

Enter one screen-edge action for each item in the sequence and count to six. The fourth and fifth actions both use Right, so let the first right lean finish, return to neutral, and choose Right again. Finish with Down and pause for Aldous's response instead of adding a seventh click.

The recording uses point-and-click controls, not physical keyboard arrow keys. If a current mobile interface presents taps or swipes differently, preserve the same direction order but follow the control visible in that build. An exact changed mobile gesture is To be confirmed unless the current Lite or premium version shows it directly.

Why the sequence can look correct but fail

First, make sure you watched the soldier rather than clicking Aldous during the demonstration. Input is only relevant when the close Aldous exercise view is active. A click used to leave dialogue or change rooms is not one of the six movements, so start counting only after the directional view appears.

Second, preserve the repeated Right. Writing the answer as Left, Right, Down, Right, Down silently removes one movement and cannot match the recorded solution. Grouping it as Left Right / Down / Right Right / Down makes the duplication easier to remember.

Third, do not substitute 235. That code comes from Alexandra's two fingers, Aldous's three watch movements, and William's five blinks during the breakfast lock. The exercise is a visual movement-copy task, so a number wheel solution is unrelated.

Success signal and the next action

When all six movements are accepted, Aldous says, “This helps me stay young. Now, prepare my outfit.” Use the visible shirt, trousers, accessories, and other clothing from the bedroom rack as the game requests. The fully dressed state proves that the exercise gate is cleared.

Continue to the outfit request

Finish dressing Aldous and continue the final dialogue. He says the guests should arrive shortly and asks you to look outside. Checking the exterior triggers the guest-arrival image and the “To be continued” end of this Demo recording.

The outfit prompt is the clearest confirmation because the video contains no numeric score for the exercise. If you never receive it, return to the toy soldier, replay the demonstration, and retry exactly six inputs. Do not continue guessing beyond the verified pattern.

Demo and Lite version boundary

The Fredericma45 frames on this page document the 2025 Steam Demo. A separately collected Lite walkthrough has been used as supporting evidence in the research set, but these screenshots are not presented as mobile screenshots. Interface placement, touch handling, or a future sequence change must be checked against the exact version a player is using.

The released premium game contains more duties than this preview, so reaching the outfit and guest-arrival scene only completes the recorded Demo route. Any later premium exercise, alternate day, changed character action, or new movement count is To be confirmed until supported by direct current-build evidence. This prevents one valid preview answer from being copied into an unrelated full-game puzzle.
